Radio 0-3-0 is a sound and object installation from EMEKA OGBOH, which is known for its immersive sound landscapes and multimedia installations. Creating from his experiences in Lagos and other urban environments, he deals with topics such as memory, migration, interpersonal connections and global interdependencies. Radio 0-3-0 was created in 2015, when thousands of people were looking for refuge in Berlin as a result of the civil war in Syria. After the war of attack in Russia against Ukraine again led many people to Berlin in 2022, the work was updated and expanded. The core of the multi -layered work is a radio program of several hours, which includes news, stories, interviews, sound landscapes and music contributions. The title reveals that Berlin is in focus: "030" is the telephone area code of the big city. The program brings different voices and perspectives, stories and feelings into a dialogue about flight, displacement, politics, business and social interaction. With his work, the artist not only allows disagreements and conflicts, but also offers them a space in the literal sense. Like a lounge, it invites you to linger and listen.
