Acquisition of the foundation

The new acquisition of four editions by the artist Daniel Steegmann Mangrané complement the installation purchased for the Hamburger Bahnhof ⊮ (see Journal 4/2022). In this way, his complex artistic approach, which consists in creating and migrating forms between nature, art and architecture, is honored. In the new series of holograms he continues his interest in the relationship between organic and geometric, but also between natural and man-made forms. Like small terrariums or display cases in a natural history museum, branches, geometric shapes and, in some cases, insects are grouped together. The photo Spiral Forest 4 shows details of the foliage in the dense undergrowth of the Brazilian rainforest. The work Eri Sáli, a sheet made of oxidized copper, looks like a close-up.
