- The new acquisition of four editions by the artist Daniel Steegmann Mangrané complements the installation ⊮ purchased for Hamburger Bahnhof (see Journal 4/2022). In this way, his complex artistic approach, which consists in creating and migrating forms between nature, art and architecture, is honored.In the new series of holograms, he continues his interest in the relationship between organic and geometric, but also between natural and man-made forms. Branches, geometric shapes, and in some cases insects are grouped together as if in small terrariums or display cases in a natural history museum. The photo Spiral Forest 4 shows details of foliage in the densely leafy undergrowth of the Brazilian rainforest. The work Eri Sáli, a leaf made of oxidized copper, looks like a close-up.
