Klaus Biesenbach, Director of the New National Gallery: “The New National Gallery is a unique place to experience art. We want this experience to be accessible to as many people as possible. In Volkswagen we have a partner for whom this goal is just as important and who supports us significantly in being an art venue for everyone.” Benita von Maltzahn, Director of Cultural Engagement at Volkswagen adds: “In order to strengthen our society, culture must also be strengthened. We need places to discover and experience creativity. That’s why we take responsibility and work with our partners to develop suitable formats that enable cultural participation for many people.”
